Burnside is a blended malt with components of Balvenie and Glenfiddich , a style known for its elegance and layering. Bottled at 53.2% ABV , completely natural, without chill filtration or added colouring.

On the nose, this whisky reveals a deep, ripe complexity of honey, dried apricot, orange peel, and soft wood spices , complemented by aged oak and a light waxy note. The palate is full and rounded: ripe stone fruit, toffee, spicy oak, and soft malt , with a beautiful balance between sweetness and wood influence. The finish is long, warm, and refined , with lingering spiciness and an elegant, dry wood note.

With a very limited edition of just 211 bottles and almost three decades of maturation, this is a classic, mature Blackadder that aims for depth and balance , not extremes.
