İnsanın cümle yaratılmışla
dengede,
sevgi ilişkisinde olması
günümüzde
her zamankinden daha
önemliyken,
bunca sevgisizliğe,
bunca yalnızlığa, bunca
yabancılaşmaya itilişimiz neden?
Hiçbir çıkar gözetmeksizin,
yalnızca karşısındakini
korumak istediğinden doğan
“kuş evleri” üzerinde
düşünmek bize kimi
unuttuklarımızı
anımsatabilir.

While it is all the more
important today that man
should be in harmony and in
love with all the living
creatures in the world, why
is it that we find ourselves
suffering so much from
lack of affection, from
loneliness, and alienation?
Pondering on “Bird-houses”,
whose sole reason for existence was
man’s willingness to protect
other creatures, might be
helpful in reminding us
some of the values we have
forgotten about.
