The Record Weight works with felt, cork and rubber mats and fits most Thorens and other branded turntables with a standard centre spindle. Why the Thorens’ Stabilser? The Thorens Stabiliser holds the record on the platter and helps reduce minor warps, which helps the stylus to track record grooves more accurately and deliver a better sound with more sonic detail and harmonics. The Record Stabilser record weight is supplied in a fancy wooden box to keep it safe from damage.
