Elan Exar Pro skis have a synthetic core designed to be very lightweight and have a great shape which makes them easy to turn. They will last right through a few skiers whether you pass them down in your family or on to someone else, each skier will have a great experience. Ideal Target Skier: Developing Skier: Anywhere from first timers to advanced skiers, that still have a lot to learn about skiing. They might ski fast sometimes, and have a blast, but aren't comfortable with some areas of the mountain.

Cap Construction: The top-sheet of this ski drapes over the edge to form a clean and rounded finish to the side of the ski. This style of construction adds some torsional rigidity, and helps reduce topsheet chipping when the skis hit each other.

Synflex Core: Elan's Synflex Core is an enhanced synthetic core that retains the lightweight properties of most traditional synthetic core skis, while being stiffer and more damp to vibrations than other synthetic/foam core skis.

Tip and Tail Protectors: Plastic protectors on the tip and tail increase the durability of the gear tenfold. Your tips and tails are the most likely edges to get cracked, keep 'em safe with tip protectors and your skis will last for a long long time.

Active Camber: In a world of early rise, rocker, and reverse camber, there still is a need for traditional full camber skis. The edge grip and stability is unmatched on groomed snow. This ski gets maximum edge to the snow, so it helps skiers skiing the firm stuff, or just prefer the 'feel' of traditional camber skis.

Snakeskin Topsheet: a ribbed rugged surface that repels scratches and wear far greater than a typical topsheet. It won't make you ski better, but it will make you look better.
