All G600 ED binoculars have a streamlined roof prism design and are waterproof and purged with an inert gas to create an internal environment that is impervious to fog and contamination from dirt and debris.

For birdwatchers, hikers and adventure lovers of all types, the 8x42 G600 binocular is an excellent all purpose binocular with a 42mm aperture that brings in lots of light. It has a close focus range of 3 meters, which comes in handy when observing birds, butterflies and other nearby wildlife. It also has a 17.3mm eye relief, which allows eyeglass wearers to enjoy a full view.

Additional amenities in the G600 series include twist-up eyecups for comfortable viewing, diopter adjustment capability to ensure both eyes achieve proper focus and a tripod thread socket for attaching the device to a user-supplied tripod adapter and tripod when extra stability is desired.
