The present volume contains fifteen of the most creative and fascinating wedding sermons of the 16th and 17th centuries, each with its own half-title of sorts and originally published in two volumes, but here bound together. These have been selected purposefully for their innovation and the unique way they fold together the Gospel and marriage. Superb! Largely in the reformation and puritan vein.
