The RAM-234-3FL Tough-Tray™ is a spring-loaded expandable tray designed to accommodate most 10" to 16" wide laptops.

The tray includes four flat side clamping arms with a secure retaining design. These arms can be moved both vertically and horizontally, allowing a custom fit for varying laptop thicknesses while helping avoid blocked ports or drives. The flat retaining arms are designed to allow your laptop to close completely while it remains in the tray.

Hole patterns on the perimeter of the tray also allow additional RAM^® systems to be mounted to support GPS units, phones, tablets, PDAs or other electronics.

How does the RAM^® Tough-Tray™ mount?
The RAM-234-3FL has a 4-hole AMPS pattern, measuring 1.181" x 1.496", on the bottom of the tray. This allows it to attach to compatible RAM^® 4-hole AMPS components, such as the RAM-202U round plate.

Are the flat clamping arms available as a separate item?
Yes. The flat clamping arms are available separately as RAM-234K1-4U. Once attached to the laptop tray, they allow your device to close completely while in the mount.

Could you use this with an iPad Pro keyboard case?
No. RAM does not currently offer a product that works well with keyboard cases or 2-in-1 tablets.
