About the Dawes Scenic Cross Bar E-Bike

The new 2025 model Dawes Scenic electric hybrid bike is a sleek, simplified take on the popular Dawes Spire range, perfect for city and town riders who still want the option to take the scenic route home.

With its integrated 375Wh battery, the Scenic offers up to 40 miles (64km) of range and charges from empty in just 5 hours. You can charge the battery while it’s still on the bike or remove it with the included keys for added convenience and security - ideal for when you’re parked in a public spot.

Powering the bike is the trusted Bafang rear hub motor system, delivering 32Nm of torque to make climbing hills easy and cruising on flat terrain effortless. You can choose from five power assist modes via the simple handlebar display, which also shows battery level and speed. There’s even a walk-assist mode to help you push the bike up steeper slopes when needed.

The Scenic is fitted with a reliable Shimano Altus 1x7 speed drivetrain, complete with a smooth trigger shifter, and low-maintenance cable disc brakes that provide consistent stopping power in all weather conditions. The Innova Roadrunner 700x45c tires feature puncture protection for added peace of mind, and comfort is prioritized with ergonomic lock-on grips and a plush Selle Royal Freeway saddle.

Practical features include a pannier rack, full-length mudguards to keep you dry and clean on rainy days, and a kickstand for convenient parking.
