Automatic Seal of Geneva movement powering the bi-retro (day of the month and day of the week) perpetual moonphase with 52 week countdown. Amazing looking white gold case has a creamy deep golden look to it; sometimes WG cases can look like steel...not so with the Sympathie. The now discontinued shape is extremely attractive which is something RD is known for: great movements in interesting cases with attractive dials. The combination of Mother of Pearl colors on this dial is insane: outer weeks counter in white (and the weeks themselves in roulette red and black), inner retrograde counters in a Tahitian mother of pearl and center dial done in a stunning honey yellow. Hands are gorgeous; hours and minutes in white gold and retro hands in blued steel. The 43mm case size is by far the optimal for wearability on the wrist. A true gentleman's timepiece. Only 28 pieces every made of this dial.
