This is an Ethnic woven palm leaf box with a lid that is used in Shalateen, Egypt historically for storing the coffee container (gabana). You can use it for any kind of storage and decor. Collect your jewelry and trinket. Use it as a gift box or as a beautiful bohemian decor. The box is made from palm leaves that are woven by hand and decorated with wool threads.

Size: 20 cm (8") height with the lid X 11 cm (4.5") base diameter. Height without the lid is 10 cm (4").

Material: Palm leaves and wool.

Old leaves from date palm trees. Every year, after collection of dates we need to cut the old leaves as a part of the crop care. Instead of disposal of the leaves that means in many cases burning them, we make our beautiful and useful products out of the scrapped leaves.

Method: woven by hand by an ancient Egyptian method.
