Wingfoiling is the the most amazing addition to our world of wind and surf sports.  It takes very little power to move you across the water on a hydrofoil, which means you need very little upper body strength to wingfoil.  The craft is also very stable once you're up on the hydrofoil and flying so balance is not as big an issue as it is in surfing and other wave sports.  Because the power requirements are small you can use a relatively small wing to propell yourself across the water, this means that there is very little power to hurt yourself unlike kiting or windsurfing.  Another HUGE advantage for wingfoil is you can literally launch from anywhere.  If you're on a large board even if you're on a lake or in a wind shadow you can just stand on the board with the wing in you hand and cruise out to where the wind is good to ride.  These factors all add up to one thing: Anyone can Wingfoil!

If you're looking to get into the sport we can help.  There are a number of great launches in Bellingham as well as the Pacific North West in general.  We start instruction right at our shop in downtown Bellingham which is located on the water.  Here are the steps to learn quickly and easily:

Step1: Take a 2hr Efoil course at the Shop in Bellingham
Step2: Ground Lesson with hand wing and self practice on your own 
Step3: Put it all together with an in water session with a large wingfoil board, wing and hydrofoil.
