Beris Short Pelham With Tongue Port Bar - The tongue bow has a special, flattened shape of the bow. This gives the tongue an optimal amount of space. Many horses react to this with improved looseness and increased chewing activity. But the bit is also very suitable for so-called tongue players, who try to stick their tongue over the bit, because the bow effectively prevents this. This mouthpiece is therefore ideal for horses that do not tolerate conventionally shaped bits because of the pressure on the tongue and react with head banging or similar. The Pelham- a classic with a more elegant design refined by us. When the reins are accepted, the bit acts on the mouth, lower jaw and neck. Depending on the length of the reins (5 cm or 7.5 cm), a different and immediate bite angle can be achieved in the mouth. Possible use with horses that have difficulty going through the nape of the neck, with 'hot' horses or also with horses that need clear influence in critical situations (jabbing or similar). The Pelham is supplied with a chin chain hook.
