Inside and out, it blends a vintage style with modern siding elements. MXL integrated a foam windscreen behind the grille to filter out plosives and wind noise while the super-cardioid polar pattern extraneous sounds for clear vocals. The CR77 reduces noise from floor vibrations with the built-in shock mount as the durable grille protects the internal components from damage. Included are the microphone, a rugged aluminum flight case, and a microfiber cleaning cloth.
