Original to the 1950's, a fancy brown diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with a natural fancy brown diamond, round brilliant-cut and an impressive weight of 1.70ct. It has a stunning soft cinnamon tone and as it catches the light a more subtle rosy hue can be seen too.
This is not surprising, as both brown and pink diamonds are caused by the same rare phenomenon - a 'slip' or defect of carbon atoms within the crystal lattice, although technically an imperfection, this results in the beautiful and extremely rare colour of this stone! This diamond is particularly lively and shows appreciable fire, making it all the more captivating to look at.
Surrounded by a cluster of twelve round brilliant-cut diamonds, grain-set with polished edges that form a gentle scallop design. To an intricately pierced gallery featuring linear detail, shoulders that lightly taper to a solid 10ct white gold shank.
Excellent: All stones are secure and well set, with no damage to the mount. Professionally polished and carefully inspected by our workshop, ready to wear and enjoy.
Unless stated otherwise, gem weights and specifications are estimated (assessed in mount).
