The 2021 PORSCHE TURBO (992.1) driven by Jean-Pierre van der Walt returned to Simola Hillclimb last year (2023) to win the ‘Road & Supercar’ class once again for the third consecutive year with a time of 44.991 on a damp track and in ‘limp’ mode! His personal best time for the season was 44.281! It is worth noting that he beat 3rd place Formula 1 driver Mica Salo, who stood in for Michael Schumacher in 1999 with a time of 47.876 in a Mercedes AMG 45S. With a 640hp twin-turbocharged 3.7-litre flat-six engine in the back and a 0-100sec take-off of 2.2sec, it's not surprising that you would choose this all-wheeler to tear up the corners in a hill-climb competition. 'Standard' picture framing glass is a 2mm clear float glass. It is inexpensive and will protect your artwork from dust and physical damage.

BACKING : Full archival acid-free board with 10mm deep-sunk (spacer) in same to create depth and set the artwork back off the glass.
