The outer diameter of the top tube has been changed to 28.6mm.

Heat-treated tubing has been used to increase rigidity.

High strength TIG welding is used.

At Omafiets we are thrilled to offer "The Chunk", having started the shop importing upright step through dutch bikes many years ago, we have a real deep love for the combination of a step through frame and swept back bars. Some of our favorite bikes from those early shipments were the Koga-Miyata frames, a collaboration between the Dutch and Japanese that was the highpoint of frame design for decades. These Chunk Frames seem a very worth spiritual successor, but updates for modern times, with disc brakes, big tyre clearance but retaining a beautiful silhouette and simplicity.
