Acavallo Active Pony Soft Gel Pad Cut Out Sheepskin Just Gel - An incredibly useful pad by Acavallo® for all of the pony lovers, which maintains excellent contact with the saddle whilst allowing great air circulation. Made from the hypoallergenic, non-toxic Acavallo® Sot Gel in combination with the finest sheepskin, it can be used in direct contact with the skin.

Acavallo only uses the best sheepskin, which is a natural, antiallergic, soft and delicate material, that is able to prevent rubbing, abrasions and blisters.
The wool selected by Acavallo has a very high density of fibres per square inch, which makes it the best emollient padding nature has to offer.
Furthermore, the wool does not emit electrostatic charges in the event of the pad rubbing with the horse’s skin, thus acting as a 100% insulator.
Another essential feature of the material is to immediately absorb sweat by releasing it to the outside air seven times faster than synthetic materials.

Due to the shaped gel, which is thicker than a traditional saddle pad, the pad is both anti-slip and shock-absorbing. Thanks to these properties, the saddle always remains in place, even during unexpected movements in any direction.  

The central part of the pad was designed to be thinner than the rest to allow continuous air circulation. This creates more space between the saddle and the Acavallo® Gel Pad, allowing excess heat and moisture to escape. This design does not only enable the skin to breathe but also allows the Gel Pad to seamlessly adapt to the withers and the horse's back, improving the overall saddle fit. 

An added bonus of the Acavallo® Gel, is that it is able to compensate for small imperfections, such as a more rounded back, making it suitable for almost all horses.
