A vintage cluster ring set to centre around an octagonal step-cut emerald that is claw set in the centre of the ring amounting to 1.38 carats. The emerald boasts wonderful saturation and is flanked by four baguette cut diamonds and two half clusters of round-cut diamonds along the top and bottom of the emerald. The combined diamond weight amounts to a total of 0.52 carats. Cathedral shoulders taper up to secure the open work and unusual setting. This ring tests as 18ct white gold, circa 1980.
