Fabulous BOHO African Trade bead necklace. It is composed of multiple strands of well matched red glass beads originating from Europe and traded to Africa. The combination of antique trade beads and the eccentric Morrocan Berber headdress charms made from old coins is such a bold design. The necklace is accented with large green barrels and hand crafted silver beads. The majority of the red beads are Prosser, cylinder and snake beads. The necklace has a simple silver hook and eye clasp that is secure.

This necklace is from the estate of a Jewelry/Bead collector from Santa Fe.

 The necklace measures 22 inches long. These antique beads have some chips, dirt and dings, which add to their beauty and story.
