Fabulous French Crystal Spinning Elephant by Baccarat of France new in the original box. This French Crystal figurine is Tourmaline (Pink) and measures approximately 3" in height. The Baccarat script and logo are acid-etched on the rounded underside. The rounded underside allows the elephant to spin like a top. The crystal figurine was handmade and polished to perfection. The condition is excellent, there are no chips, cracks, scratches or damage of any kind.

Baccarat, the legendary French glassmaker master, has won numerous prestigious awards in the last 200 years, including the Medaille d’Or at the 1867 and 1878 World’s Fairs. In 1907, Baccarat became the first factory to manufacture crystal perfume bottles. In 1916, George Chevalier, a promising young artist, joined Baccarat. For the next 50 years, Chevalier designed crystal stemware, animal sculptures, flagons, and lamps.
