Billy says

A slightly lighter ‘G’ (0.043″) this provides a more even string to string tension across the neck and makes bending easier.

A heavier ‘E’ string (0.110″) which again provides a more even string to string tension,eliminating string ‘flap’ or ‘rattle’ and makes for a tighter low end with increased mass for more volume in the lower register.

The (0.110″) gauge also facilitates tuning down to a low ‘D’ without the string bottoming out or loss of intonation.
