Built on a concept of high-quality Japanese fabrics and a commitment to authentic craftsmanship. Originally produced for many years as a ROCOCO exclusive line of JAPAN BLUE JEANS, it relaunches in 2026 under the name “Blue refabric.”

Production centers around partner factories of JAPAN BLUE JEANS. The name combines “Blue” — representing Japanese denim — with “Refabric,” a coined word blending Republic and Fabric. Inspired by the idea of a “Blue Republic,” the brand honors Japan’s textile heritage while creating garments that bring out the individuality of the wearer.

Primarily using premium denim from Okayama, each piece is carefully crafted in trusted domestic factories. The design approach is minimal yet defined, allowing the character and texture of the fabric to stand out. From “the country of fabric, Japan” to the world—Blue refabric presents a new standard rooted in respect for Japanese textiles.







High-count twill with a balanced performance
A high-count twill constructed with 40/3 yarns in both warp and weft.
Finer yarns than typical chino cloth are woven at high density, achieving both a firm structure and a refined luster.

It also offers excellent durability thanks to its high-density construction.
While requiring advanced weaving techniques, it delivers excellent value for its quality.





Subtle details that go beyond the ordinary
The sides are finished with double stitching, and a wash process creates natural puckering. With wear, the fabric develops character, evolving into a texture reminiscent of vintage pieces.



The waist features a zip fly for ease of wear.



A coin pocket is placed at the front, with practical side pockets for everyday use. The back is finished with clean double welt pockets, offering a refined impression within a workwear context.





An offset center back belt loop adds a subtle accent, reflecting attention to detail throughout.

Based on a wide tapered silhouette, with comfortable room through the hips and thighs, then naturally narrowing toward the hem for a clean overall look.
