This hand-knotted Indo-Sarouk rug from the 1990s features a beautifully aged peach-colored field enriched with intricate floral motifs in navy, ivory, and soft blues. The deep navy border with classic Sarouk floral designs frames the central medallion-like layout, lending elegance and balance to the overall composition. There is no wear on the pile, and the rug is in excellent condition. Some straight-line color variation is present, caused by the use of different dye lots in the yarn—common in village productions and considered part of the rug’s charm and authenticity.
