A vintage Cartier engagement ring. The principal round brilliant-cut diamond weighing 1 carat is complemented with eighteen smaller diamonds amounting to an additional approximate weight of 1.24 carats. The eight round-cut diamonds and ten baguette-cut diamonds are set in a unique geometric fashion that creates a sense of movement throughout the ring which is further enhanced by the two different diamond cuts. This ring has total diamond weight of 2.24 carats, tests as platinum is authenticated with Cartier makers marks and a '1935' date.
