Distilled at Deanston distillery, at the gateway to the dramatic Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park, this 11 year old single malt has been bottled by independent bottler, Brave New Spirits, as part of their now discontinued Rebels - The Guerilla Casks range.

The Rebels showcases single cask, single malts in interesting cask maturations and finishes. This particular Deanston release has been exclusively matured for 11 years in a first-fill Merlot wine barrique. A red wine, most-likely from Bordeaux, France.  

This is where that phenomenal colour comes from, as all the Rebel releases are natural colour, non-chill filtered and bottled at cask strength.
