Original to c.1977, this impressive sapphire and diamond three-stone ring offers a broad and flattering spread across the finger whilst still remaining elegant and poised. Set to centre with a large natural sapphire weighing over 3ct and cushion mixed-cut. It has an extraordinarily deep ocean blue colour that almost seems to envelope you within it. Claw-set in white gold above a structural linear gallery with fine chenier detail.
Flanked by two round brilliant-cut diamonds with a combined weight of 1ct; gallery is intricately pierced in a linear design. Shoulders very lightly taper to a solid 18ct white gold band; shoulders are open with chenier details. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1977 with maker's mark for William Weston & Sons, a family jewellers active from at least the 1920s.
Unless stated otherwise, gem weights and specifications are estimated (assessed in mount).
