Using their earlier work as a strating block, Oneohtrix create a masterful soundtrack with nods to Tangerine Dream and John Carpenter. With arpeggiating synths, drone washes and effective use of dialogue in parts to augment and segue to different sounds, it's a mini epic of its own. It actually won the Best Soundtrack Award at Cannes, and it's easy to see why: a brilliant soundtrack, equal parts support for the visuals, while sounding strong enough of its own to be considered a proper album.
