Provenance

Crafted in our own wonderful workshop using traditional techniques, this beautiful ring has been thoughtfully designed to be cherished for a lifetime of love and wear. At its centre sits a natural ruby, chosen for its exceptional quality and distinctive colour. Personally selected by Sam during his trip to Sri Lanka - the stone has been responsibly and ethically sourced. 

The ruby has a rich and striking carnation red colour with strong pinkish undertones. It has an interesting emerald-cut which is not seen in rubies that commonly. It is also very delicately proportioned and claw-set, surrounded by a halo of round brilliant-cut diamonds, each meticulously matched in colour and clarity; F-G, VS. The outline of the cluster follows the shape of the central ruby and the overall proportions are very flattering on the finger.

The gallery is designed as a basket featuring linear open-work. The shoulders are slightly open and naturally slope to form a solid gold D-shape band. The yellow gold is 14ct - our favourite alloy for its durability and soft tone - and the ring has been hallmarked at Sheffield Assay Office.
