This IWC Big Pilot Perpetual Calendar IW502804 has a mechanical automatic self-winding IWC caliber 51614 movement. It's rhodium-plated with fausses cotes embellishment, and it has a high-performance Pellaton automatic winding system. It's constructed with 64 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a Glucydur beryllium alloy balance with a high-precision adjustment cam on balance arms. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, and a Breguet self-compensating flat balance spring. It includes a micrometer regulator, a small hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting, and the rotor contains a gold medallion inlay engraved "IWC - Probus Scafusia." The movement oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz).
