• Is this a wing for beginners?

It's perfectly possible to start with the Stream, which is a freeride-oriented kite. It offers well-distributed power, ideal for beginners looking for a kite that can be adapted for progression.

• How to choose between sizes, knowing that there is a wing every 0.5 m²?

For a 75 kg rider, a 5 m² and 3.5 m² combo makes a very good quiver, covering the majority of conditions.

For those who want a more refined quiver, opting for three sizes spaced 1 m² apart is a very welcome luxury to perfectly adapt to their wing for each session.

• Where does it fit between the Dlite Boom and the Diamond V2?

The Stream is positioned halfway between, with approximately 70% Dlite Boom feel and 30% Diamond V2, thanks in particular to better support in overwind conditions.

It combines the lightness and responsiveness of the Dlite with added stability inherited from the Diamond.

One of the main development areas of this wing is the tack: it switches very naturally from one side to the other, effortlessly, allowing the rider to fully concentrate on the carving phase of the foil.

• Does Aramid make the wing lighter and more rigid?

Yes. Aramid provides increased rigidity to the leading edge, limiting deformations (torsion) in overpowered conditions or during pumping phases, while maintaining a low weight.

• Is it the same wishbone as the one on the Dlite Boom?

Yes, it is a clip-on wishbone, identical to the one on the Dlite.

However, we released a model with the AFS logo specifically for the Stream. The Dlite model remains fully compatible in size and mounting.

• Is it a freestyle or wave-oriented wing?

The Stream excels in both disciplines. It is very light in hand, making it particularly maneuverable for freestyle, and it is also very stable for freefly surfing, so much so that you completely forget you're holding it.

• Why not continue with Dyneema?

UPE is a rigid material, but a little more flexible (which is interesting for absorbing overwinds) than Dyneema, which is interesting, and it is also lighter.

This allows us to reduce costs while maintaining good rigidity, and to decrease the weight to obtain a wing with a less "truck-like" feel, freer and more lively in motion.

• What is PE RIPSTOP Bi-Grammage?

Canopy material that provides stability in the central area and lightness at the trailing edge. Explanation of "dual-weight" construction:

• 2 PE of different weights
• 1 high density at the top for tension
• 1. Low density at the bottom for central stability and a lighter trailing edge
