Provenance

This ring dates to circa 1890, the Victorian era.  Set to centre with a natural precious opal with a weight of over 2.0ct. Flanked by six cushion-shape old-mine cut diamonds on either side, with a combined weight of 0.30ct.

The Natural Stones

• Opal size: Length 9.7mm; Width 8mm; Depth 4.8mm
• Total diamond weight: 0.30ct; cushion-shape old-mine diamonds.

The Band

• Metal Composition: 18ct yellow gold
• Hallmarks: Marked with '18' indicating 18ct yellow gold. Further marked with an indistinct maker's mark.

• Front Head Dimensions: Length 10.4mm; Width 17.1mm (including shoulders)
• Height of Setting: 5.8mm
  

General Wear & Condition

• Excellent: minor wear commensurate with age. All stones are secure and well set, with no damage to the mount. Professionally polished and carefully inspected by our workshop, ready to wear and enjoy.
