Informed Experiences is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to creating place-based adventures grounded in storytelling, environmental justice, and cultural connection. Our journeys to the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge are deeply rooted in long-standing relationships with Neets'aii Gwich'in Elder Sarah James and Iñupiaq Elder Robert Thompson. Guided by their wisdom, our mission is to use adventure as a bridge to advocacy—because, as Robert reminds us, when people form a personal connection to a place, they’re far more likely to fight to protect it.
