This intricate and highly technical hybrid sneaker-boot released in both high and low iterations, and released during Errolson Hugh's 4 year tenure as ACG's creative lead. It was named after Jaro Lupinek, a 30+ year Nike veteran footwear developer who worked in Nike's SFS department. SFS stands for Special Field Systems, and is the department responsible for the SFB models designed specifically for first responders and military personnel. With this in mind, it's clear to see the SFS/SFB influence on this ACG silhouette. The uppers, which sit atop the Free Trail 5.0 tooling (also seen on SFB Boots), feature a textured wraparound leather mudguard, Flyknit and Flywire technology and a double tongue/double heel construction. A truly great piece of ACG design, from an iconic era where it felt like ACG was finding its feet again for a next-gen consumer. Good condition.
