Color: Black Light Color: Red/Blue/Green 1-6 Gear Display Plug & Play Instructions Guide: Locate the black 4-pole diagnostic connector (also known as DDA) under the seat. -Remove the cover (cap) from the plug and connect the Geefy's hip plug. - Connect the red wire of the Geoffy's Hip Meter to the blue 15 above the fuse. - Route the cables along the frame to the mounting location. - Peel off the green plastic from the back of the unit and attach the display. - Secure the cables with the provided cable ties. Configuration: You need to setup the module after installation. When the ignition is turned on, the display will count backwards (from 6 to 1) to indicate that the memory has been cleared. - Use the stand to raise the rear wheel off the ground and start the engine in neutral. (If you don't have a stand, you can set up the unit while driving. Find a long, straight road with little traffic.) - The display will flash "1". Select 1st gear, release the clutch, and maintain RPM above idle speed. The display will flash faster while the unit is learning the gears. - Select 2nd speed when "2" appears on the display. Repeat this process until all gears (5 or 6) have been considered. The unit is programmed and must indicate gear correctly. Now, when the ignition is turned on, the display will count forward (1 to 6) to indicate full functionality.
