In the glass, this whisky displays a clear, natural color that immediately reveals the absence of any color or filtration. The nose is intense and direct: sweet malt, ripe fruit, peppery spices, and a light mineral note , followed by warm alcohol and wood. Everything comes straight from the cask, unadorned.
