Provenance

Crafted during the 1890s, this sweet Victorian carved half-hoop ring features three round natural pearls, graduated in size. The surface condition of all three pearls is excellent and they all share a high lustre. Their body colour is a delicate cream colour with a silvery-blue overtone. Set between each pearl are old-cut diamonds, four in total. They add a subtle sparkle that does not overpower the iridescent lustre of the main pearls. A very pretty, dainty ring that feels very feminine.

• Metal Composition: 18ct yellow gold
• Hallmarks: Marked with hallmarks that trace the ring to Birmingham 1890. Further marked with '18' indicating 18ct yellow gold. Further marked with 'L & L' makers mark for Lawrence & Lingard. A Birmingham based jewellery firm active in the late 19th century, known for producing high-quality Victorian-era gold and diamond intricate rings.
