The Bajan was released to celebrate the 8th anniversary of De Molenberg Distillery and matured in ex-Barbados rum casks . This gives this Belgian single malt a distinctly tropical and rounded character , without losing its whisky identity.

The nose opens with ripe banana, vanilla, cane sugar, and soft spices , followed by a hint of dried fruit. The palate is full and smooth , with toffee, honey, light woody notes, and a subtle rum sweetness . The rum influence is beautifully integrated: present but never overpowering. The finish is medium to long , warm, and slightly spicy, with a soft, sweet aftertaste.
