This Speidel CIP System is designed for efficient and thorough cleaning of fermenters and closed systems like plate chillers. Equipped with a temperature display and heating device for caustic, a temperature gauge for acid, and a powerful stainless steel delivery pump, this system ensures effective cleaning, acidification, and rinsing processes. The unit is compact, movable with caster wheels, and features easy connection options.

Acid or caustic is pumped into the fermenter to be cleaned, from there it is circulated via a CIP spray ball and then pumped back into the container after use. In a closed system, e.g. plate chiller, from the storage tank in the circuit directly back into the storage tank. Backflow in each case simple via a hose through the open lid back into the respective storage tank.

Process:

• Pre-rinse: Remove dirt
• Cleaning: Caustics are run through the system parts
• Rinsing 1: The cleaning medium is flushed out with water
• Acidification: Deposits and scale are removed with the help of acid solutions
  • *Only necessary at certain intervals, not after each fermentation or brewing process
• Rinsing 2: The acid is flushed out with water
