Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2012

A single malt that brings Islay's own terroir to the glass. All the barley for this edition was grown on eight local farms surrounding the distillery, giving this whisky a distinct, authentic island character.

Matured in American oak (75% first fill) and French oak (25% refill) , this produces a fresh, grain-driven style with soft vanilla notes, light citrus, coastal influences, and an elegant spiciness. Unpeated, as is typical of the "Laddie" line, and bottled at 50% , ensuring the flavors remain beautifully robust.
