Beris Tandem With Tongue Port Bar - The tongue bow has a special, flattened shape of the bow. This gives the tongue an optimal amount of space. Many horses react to this with improved looseness and increased chewing activity. But the bit is also very suitable for so-called tongue players, who try to stick their tongue over the bit, because the bow effectively prevents this. This mouthpiece is therefore ideal for horses that do not tolerate conventionally shaped bits because of the pressure on the tongue and react with head banging or similar. The tandem is to be used with a rein. It causes pressure to be released on the nasal bone, the lower jaw branches and the nape of the neck. By increasing the pulling effect, one also achieves a slight pulling-up effect of the bit. Suitable for horses that are too sensitive for a pure bit effect in the mouth but cannot be ridden with a hackamore alone.
