A vintage Art Deco sapphire cocktail ring. Set to centre an impressive 8.11 carat rectangular step-cut sapphire that is secured in a platinum claw-setting. The cornflower blue sapphire is flanked with round and rectangular step-cut diamonds arranged in a geometric fashion on each shoulder of the ring and amounting to a combined weight of 0.26 carats. The gallery is pierced and back-holing is open. Tested platinum, circa 1920.
