When designing this airbag vest, Horse Pilot had the safety and the needs of a modern equestrian in mind. Looking at airbag vests for motorcyclists, deployment speed, comfort and protection zones have been slightly adjusted to perfectly suit the needs of ambitioned and leisure riders. 

The material is not stiff, but stretchy, breathable and lightweight to allow for great freedom and control of your movement on the horse. The cut is kept as slim and as discreet as possible, with a range of matching clothing available to wear on top if needed. You will hardly notice you are wearing it. 

To increase the comfort of wearing it, it is easy to use thanks to a patented magnetic leash. Connected to the saddle on one side and with a magnetic link on the airbag side, it can be connected and disconnected with one hand. This is a great advantage, especially when you are on your own with young or jumpy horses because you can disconnect it without letting go of the reins. A red pull has been added as a reminder to disengage before dismounting. 

Horse Pilot have worked closely with In&motion, a company specializing in personal protection for skiing and motor cycling which has received several awards for its innovations. Together, Horse Pilot and In&motion have completely redesigned the horse riding airbag safety vest.  Everything about the vest, from the gas cartridge to the trigger, from the fit to the leash design, has been optimized to offer safety, comfort, discretion and performance for riders from beginner level to CSI 5*.
