For sale here is a Gary Howells bamboo rod - 8 feet for a 4 weight line, labeled 3 5/8 oz. The rod actually weighs 3.95 oz. on my scale with each of the tips weighing the exact same. Size 13/64 ferrules. Serial #5421. The rod was made for Gerald Stein, co-author of the Lyle Dickerson book. Mr. Stein later requested an extra tip so the rod comes with three tips, all appearing 100% original and without prior repair. The rod is in excellent+++ condition showing only very minimal signs of use. All sections are straight. Original bag and original labeled tube.
