This is a large ornate sterling silver Cross or Crucifix necklace by Chapel. The crucifix is very detailed and in a beautiful Florentine style. The cross is on a long sterling silver box chain that is 24 inches long. (That is long enough to slip over my head.) This comes from a local estate and is estimated to be from the 1950's. It is in excellent condition.
