Main Features:
The Stübben Steeltec shank snaffle comes with a single broken mouthpiece made of the "sweet copper" material known for Stübben and stainless steel side parts. This special copper compound is said to taste sweet to horses and thus increases acceptance many times over. The chewing activity is also stimulated by the material, which increases the flow of saliva and enables sensitive communication between the rider's hand and the horse's mouth. Due to the reduced thickness and the small bit rings, there is enough space -even in small mouths- for the second curb bit. The "olives" on the side, which are typical for an olive head snaffle, effectively prevent the lips from being pinched and thus contribute considerably to the comfort of the bit.
