Sam's view: I can't help but think this ring could have been a gift from Tiffany & Co. to Jean Schlumberger who worked for Tiffany & Co. as a designer because of its inscription reading 'Joy to Jean.' We bought it in America too! What an amazing find, it' been very well loved and that's a big part of its charm.
