For this fifth edition, the whiskey was finished in old wine casks from the Douro Valley in Portugal , sourced from old vines with concentrated grapes.

This finish delivers rich fruit expression and soft tannins , with more depth than classic red wine finishes, but without overpowering sweetness. Bottled in 2022 at 46% ABV , true to Teeling's modern, smooth style.
