​​​​The Trollbeads Skeleton Necklace was a Limited Edition release. Limited Editions are rare or unique pieces that are only released in very small quantities, and are only available in stores until sold out.

Suzie Q Studio (originally known as Suzie Q Beads, Est. 2002) acquired TWO of ONLY 150 Trollbeads Skeleton Necklaces that were released in North America in 2011 (25 in the UK and Ireland).

At Suzie Q’s, one of these ultra-rare, wearable-art pieces was purchased by an artist with a passion for all things skeleton-themed. The second Skeleton Necklace was eventually stashed away into the Suzie Q “Rare & Retireds” Trollbeads Treasure Vault, to be finally released now, 10+ years after its original release!

The detailing of the Skeleton Necklace is exquisite! The head is two sided, with a skull on one side and a face on the other. The head itself can be worn separately as a bead on its own (see photos #4 and #6). The Skeleton Necklace is made up of nine separate sterling silver pieces, including the neck that’s decorated with a small “sun circle” bead of solid 18KT gold. Some of these pieces, including the "sun circle" bead, can be removed and added to a Trollbeads bracelet (see #4, #5 and #6 photos with this listing).

Amazingly, all of the joints of the limbs are movable, allowing the skeleton to elegantly dangle, with utter whimsey, from the 19.7 inch (50 cm) sterling silver chain that’s included. Also included is a Trollbeads “Plain Lock" (clasp).
