A scarce Charlton Thinn-Line (TL) 8500 .8 fly reel, 3 3/4" diameter and set up for desirable LHW. This model was only available for a few years, early in the history of Charlton Reels from 1994-96, before giving way to the Signature Series models. Good used condition bordering on excellent with normal wear throughout but nothing especially noteworthy. There is some scuffing and a little wear on the frame edge and backplate. Characteristic black anodizing throughout with a matte finish to the relief and interior portion of the spool. The usual Rosewood handle. Very powerful drag that's adjusted via the dial on the backplate. It comes with the original gray Charlton pouch. A very nice example of this scarce Charlton model.
