A seldom seen topaz exhibiting the blending honey and auburn tones of a painters palette. Topaz can be found in a variety of colours, however, throughout history, there has been only one highly prized colour; imperial (orange/sherry) topaz. Imperial topaz ranges from golden yellow to soft peach, this stone being the perfect specimen. The 6.00 carat gemstone sits proudly, unadulterated by diamonds and other gemstones, in a simple 18ct white gold mount. A ring with a low profile like this makes it easy and comfortable to wear. Tested and marked for 18ct white gold, circa 1925.
